Guidelines for interactions between creators and viewers
Creator & Viewer Agreement
1. Ownership and Licenses
- Creators own their content.
- Creator license to Ghostchain: limited, non-exclusive, revocable, worldwide license to host, cache, transcode, stream, display, and promote on the Platform. License ends upon deletion, subject to legal retention.
2. Monetization and Fees
- Platform fees: posted within the Platform and may change with notice.
- Fiat transactions: handled by Stripe Connect. Platform and payout splits occur at charge.
- Crypto transactions: peer-to-peer, typically using one transaction with two outputs (creator and Ghostchain platform fee).
3. Payouts, Holds, and Chargebacks
- For fiat, Stripe may apply verification, reserves, holds, or payout schedules.
- Chargebacks and refunds may be netted against creator balances or future payouts.
- Minimum payout thresholds and currencies are posted in the Platform.
4. Refunds and Entitlements
Refund policies are disclosed at checkout. If a refund occurs, associated content access may be revoked.
5. Taxes and Reporting
- Creators are responsible for income taxes.
- Processors may issue tax forms such as 1099s where applicable.
6. Ghostchain Originals
Originals are governed by separate written agreements that define ownership, revenue shares, and distribution.
7. Compliance
Creators agree to the AUP, Terms, and applicable laws, including sanctions restrictions.
